Eidco Construction Completes Renovation of Dunham's Sports and Big Lots Stores at Westgate Mall in Minnesota

Totaling 65,000 Square Feet, Project Involved Interior and Exterior Improvements and Building Addition for Retail Center

BRAINERD, Minn. (July 9, 2012) – Eidco Construction, one of the fastest growing general contractors in the United States, today announced the completion of a 65,000-square-foot renovation project at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota.

Led by Eidco Senior Project Manager Edward Bogacki, the project was designed by Chipman Design Architecture, in collaboration with Ringdahl Architects, and involved a number of interior tenant improvements, along with exterior façade work and the construction of a building addition for two of the mall's major tenants — Dunham's Sports and Big Lots.

In addition to Dunham's Sports and Big Lots, the 260,725-square-foot Westgate retail center has a tenant roster that includes anchor tenant Herberger's Department Store and a 10-screen movie theatre.
