Chicago-based Eidco Construction has announced that industry veteran Scott Deliberto has joined the firm as a site superintendent.

Deliberto's new role at Eidico include overseeing project construction and operations, according to CEO Chez Eider. Deliberto is no stranger to such tasks, having previously worked with firms Metropolitan Properties of Chicago and Equity Marketing Services, Inc. in similar roles.

With a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University (NIU) and an associates' degree in electronics/technical management from DeVry Institute of Technology, Deliberto has accrued much industry experience while working with other firms, as well as owning his own design and building company Deliberto Carpentry, Inc.

During his tenure as a project manager/superintendent for Metropolitan Properties of Chicago, he worked on projects including the adaptive reuse of The Metropolitan Tower as well as a 13,600 square-foot retail assignment with Chase Bank. At Equity Marketing Services, Inc., he served as director of construction services and construction manager, where his projects included The Park Monroe, Park Boulevard and The Columbian, among others.

In addition to his education from NIU and DeVry, Deliberto remains active in the industry through his membership with the Project Management Institute and the American Management Association.

Eider explained that they chose Deliberto because of his resume saying, "We were impressed with [Deliberto's] diverse experience in construction, operation, technical and P&L management."

"The expertise he has acquired in subjects such as operating efficiencies, contract negotiations and employee development further add to Eidco's depth of services," added Eider.
